Snuba - San Andres
Description
Also for families and passengers who visit us with children from the age of 6, we are offering the Snuba tour, which consists of snorkeling – a minimum immersion of 5 feet maximum, guided and directed, taking the air through a hose and its regulator and using fins, mask and ballast.
It's an underwater breathing system. The swimmer uses fins, a diving mask, weights and a breathing regulator, as in scuba diving; but connected to the diver by means of a hose several meters long, which in turn is generating air directly from the compressor.
Snuba often serves as an introductory form of diving and can be practiced without certification, but in the presence of a professional, certified guide and after a short lesson.
This type of diving is a popular activity in tropical tourist sites, such as Hawaii, Thailand, Mexico, and now San Andres Island, Colombian Caribbean
